This angles great for a track shot Shane, I like it a lot, the hilights son't bother me, the rusty rails are much more eye catching and of course the dof is great :-)

Shane, I'm new to Use Film and haven't uploaded any pics yet... I spotted your fork photo and decided look at your folio... great work. Great shot... just the highlights are a little bright for me...

Hi John,
I agree but only slightly! To me its like a fading out effect - well aware of the highlight being strong but in this case I was happy to post. Maybe if I did'nt shoot with jpeg there might have been something to play with. All in all though I am happy with the effect. The bit that is bothering me slightly is the break in the bushes in the top right corner. Also this image seems to be considerably flatter after I posted it - its like all files are automatically converted to a different colour space on this site. Keep an eye out and you'll see for yourself.
