Waterford City has been chosen to be the starting port for the World renowned Tall Ships Race 2005. Can you just imagine this beautiful harbour crammed with up to 100 sailing ships of all sizes from all over the world for 3 days, and a huge free citywide festival thrown in as well? Asnappers paradise!
Brilliant shot, Larry. Has convinced me to highttail it down to Waterford one of these nights to try and recapture this scene. Taken from the grounds of the hotel I presume? It will certainly be a terrific vantage point for the tall ships event.
