Many thanks, Lucas. The irony about Birmingham in particular is not lost - once the centre of car manufacturing, it has now become a victim of its past success and its past failures....The City Council is now actively trying to discourage people from driving into the centre of town but has not done very much in the way of actively making this a realistic alternative...

I like this very much...well I like all cityscapes in general. Very good point though...this is the center of every city..or at least the downtown area. Great capture of history.
