About I just loved the view from this old door. This is in Gilman Colorado and the snow was still on the mountains. Beautiful day.

What film was it shot with? I love this! I suspect a red or orange filter...

I get such a comfy feel looking at this photo. The tone lends to a warmer shot and brings back memories of childhoods past at the cabin. I like the fact that the door is cropped at the top and bottom, it invites the audience into the pic. Great shot.

HoHum..another perfectly perfect photograph from James..just kidding, I have got a serious case of Photo Envy going here. Stunning!

James, I have to agree with Alisa here, try a small black frame and see if you don't think it adds to your excellent work instead of distracting from it. Yeah man, this perfection thing is getting pretty old! Hey, but keep it up! We love it.

From my view, the crop is just exactly right. The only problem with this image is that I didn't shoot it. Good work, James....again!

I disagree with David, Shecky, et al. I like the crop. Course, as a newspaper journalist, I'm always cropping off parts of people's heads to "tighten up" the photo. Looks like the crop is "just right"... don't think you need the VERY outer edges of it to portray the focus of the shot.

Another good ones, James. I hate you, too. LOL smirk

HA ! I found a mistake with James' otherwise perfect photo! The top of the door's been cut out of the frame and so has a teeny weeny bit of the bottom of the door. I also have a sneaking suspiscion that James went and broke the glass on the door in order to attain a non reflective "perfect" photo. Hang your head in shame my good man !! *smirk*

Ok, all kidding aside. I hate you man, I really really hate you for doing stuff like this and not giving us any secrets on it :-) A great shot, lovely lighting, and perfect exposure. Solid image. Too bad the glass wasn't in the door; I think it would have directed my eye outside instead of at the door frame but c'est la vie !

Cheers,
Dave (aka Mondo aka Shecky aka etc. etc. etc.)

James, I'm getting sick and tired of having to see one perfect photo after the other from you... How about you upload a bad one once in a while, to show us that you're human... :-)

On a more serous note, this is a great shot! I love it. Keep them coming...
