Petal,
Any plant can be a weed. If it's not growing where you want it to be, it's a weed. A "weed" that you like becomes a "wild flower" :)
It would greatly enhance your presentation if you could name the flower.
As a photo on its own, this one's very nice. Good focus throughout. And yes, it would make a lovely birthday card!
