The sheer magnitude of this place is not immediately apparent from the thumbnail Chris. Only by studying the full size image and detecting the people that are there did I get an idea of the scale of it. Absolutely incredible image. All the best. Den

I know you are a >99% color guy, but this could really be interesting in B&W for its compository quality and sky / ground structure (just a thought). Superb composition, nice the tiny people as scaling factor for this majestic scenery. Have a nice weekend ! Carsten

About the speed... I can see the snail-tracks you made on the ground!! Perhaps your luggage is too heavy!? Drop one cam..and the speed will be much higher!! Just an advice..for next time!!! )

Nice shot Chris.... Exposure can be so tricky in this location - I've heard of some who have had real trouble with exposure when using nothing but shirt sleeves, especially in winter when the light is not so bright! I'd strongly suggest a water filter if you were contemplating using the natural water in the area as part of your image too.. otherwise there may be unwelcome brown spots in the view and perhaps a yellow cast too from the local sheep! I also like slow speeds (unless there is a chance of high speed downhill action) and in this circumstance given the conditions I think your choice of speed and exposure very wise. The composition of the rock on the hill is excellent as if it were under the hill a lot of the impact would be lost. I like how the people are also on top of the hill and not obscured under or behind it.
Great shot!
A ;-)
