Thanks, Jurgen. I always think of that shot you got from the Hancock and how clear that day was! I'm working from home and travel as well so maybe I can get down to the Hancock and shoot on one of those pristine clear days. Anytime you want to come into the city and shoot, let me know. Your night shots on Michigan ave are great. I got off about 6 shots over the city so I'll post some more soon.

Now that is a great shot. Whenever I have a take-off over the city, I sit in an isle seat or have the wing in my face. On days with unobstructed view, we?ll take off over the lake.
Great shot, Mark. I also think the light blue haze is expected from where you took that photo.
Your Chicago photos are great. Living in the suburbs, I don?t get to downtown as often as I would like. In fact, I have been unable to make it onto the Hancock since I got the D70. Really need to fix that soon.
Keep up the great work, Jürgen

I agree with George. There is a blue cast because of all the atmospheric reflection. Maybe you could adjust the levels by adjusting the primary colors. But it is sharp and very good for this type of shot. In fact it's beautiful. Regards, Andree

It's a fine shot, for sure. On my monitor(calibrated), the brightness seems about right. It does have a kind of blue-hazy quality in the upper left quadrant, but I think that's to be expected of this kind of aerial photo. Hope that helps . . . Good work, --George
