About Neist point lighthouse on the Isle of Skye off the west coast of Scotland is one of the most spctacular sightings for a lighthouse in the British isles. The afternoon I arived I was greeted by heavy clouds and a wind flattened sea. Nice but no cigar. As is so often the case a small chink in the sky transformed the play of light adding sparkle to the sea and lifting the muted palette of colours of the Spring grasses on the cliff top.

Ummm...in a word...WOW!!

Great depth of field, awesome composition using the road and the point of the outcropping to lead you indirectly to the light house. Given your story about how you got the shot I think there is a more subtle lesson....patience is often as important as the eye. Great shot, great story. Extremely well done!

Solid work one would expect from heavy gear, complete with nice slide film. Perspective is well pronounced. The shot was worth taking. I might've tried to use a little bit more contrast bt this is individual. Well done! I enjoyed it. Thanks.

Regards,
Konstantin
