After vieweing the original (which is already a good shot) I see how improved the overall effect is. Good PS work. I am waiting to get the latest version of PS, which is only available for reviews right now, to come out. I am panting waiting to get my hands on it o:) Cheers, Andree

Thanks Andree, I posted the original and you'll see there is a little too much "green". I hope you like the experiment. I saw you do something similar in one of your shots...pictures of poppies. In this case I desaturated the entire image then used the history brush tool in Photoshop CS. I know you are using 5 or so and it may not be available. You can "repaint" the colors back in with various brush sizes and varying percentages of opacity. You need a steady hand with the mouse or a Wacom tablet. I'm having fun! Thank you for your continued support...-mm

I was experimenting with taking out some of the green in the background areas. I have posted the original. Let me know if you think I improved on it. -mm

Well, the result is splendid. The best thing to say is perhaps that it doesn't look "manipulated." I confess I don't understand why it was desaturated, but the results speak for themselves. Cool . . . Best wishes, --george
