right, i agree with Ian, need more foreground, sometimes it is much better to make a pathway to your eyes to lead to the object smoothly rather than a direct expose, well done

The dog has a nice curve to it which goes with the shape of your arch. Good timing. Great Idea for a series of photos to begin a portfolio. Very nice arch. I wonder if more foreground to include the base of it would help us lead into the picture. I have been thinking a few times this week about how people create entry points into photos. I haven't done it much myself but am told the bottom left is where the eye starts. Here it is met by a wall. I suspect putting some of the ground there would give my eyes somewhere to walk in. :)
