These shots are marvellous, I cannot imagine waves having ice chinks in them, leet along crashing ashore like this. Thank you so much for sharing these images - I am just awestruck by them

Yes, love the rain on the roof...
In one of our rooms we have two skylights. The rain on those is really neat. I should have been born in Seattle WA or Oregon, where it rains more. But this year in California we have had a lot of rain, so I've enjoyed it. However, it has caused a lot of folks too many problems. Seems to be either 'reast or famine'!!
Yes, get that power nap!

You must have had a very windy day. Glad your sun is shinning. This is a great action shot. You can just see t hose waves coming at you. The blue of the ice and the green of the water are very nice. Don.

Thanks for the Comment, we have anoter thing in common I see, THe waves and rain on the roof is as good as it gets. Now later today its supposed to rain, I can park within 30 meters of this spot with my van, if its raining its a bonus. My wife works later tonight so I have about 1 1/2 hours to kill. Can you say Power nap !! With rain on the roof for icing on the cake. ;-)
I have logged many hours in that spot checking my eyelids for holes :-)
