John, Thank you! Your photos were one of the reasons I spent a month in NZ. Keep it up.

I like your interpretation very much Mark. Great drive over the Crown Range. It was much better before they sealed it for the rubber neckers. Regards John

You know, quite honestly I'm not sure WHO I meant to reply to...I did check out both your and Todds photos and I like both your styles. :) I think my problem is that I am still pretty new to this website and I just got confused in the process of navigation...lol...but that's fine with me, I got to *meet* you and so it was beneficial on my end for sure!! *wink*

Keep up the good work!

Erin, I love your candor. I'm sure you meant to reply to Todd. And I agree. All his stuff is great!

LOL...no, you don't know me...I accidentally got you mixed up with someone else...but that doesn't mean I don't still love your picture. However, it does mean that I 'lied'; I actually haven't seen anything else of yours...but I will be going to look right now. lol

*blushing*

Erin,
Do I know you? Wow, thanks for the praise. I'm going to bed now but will definitely sleep better for it. Thanks!

Oh wow, I love this shot...the rise on the right makes me instantly think of the ocean...and Todd is right, wonderful details! I don't think I've seen a picture you've taken that I HAVEN'T liked!

gorgeous! great tones and crisp details...nicely done. a month in NZ?? that sounds so very nice...especially this time of year.

i've posted the original 'ptolemy' shot under the PS version now, if you'd care to see it. DOF was natural on that one-its what happens when the lens is about an inch in diameter.
