About I am told this is a male Calypte anna (Anna's Hummingbird). Every day after work a co-worker and I take a walk out back of our building (which is on the edge of a canyon) and try to get the perfect shot of a White-Tailed Kite that lurks about...still haven't got the perfect Kite picture but every day these guys follow us up and down the trails. This one was probably 5 or 6 feet away just watching me.
