I do love the Plane shots. I have a couple in my portfolio but the Corsair has always been my favorite with the P-51 right there with it. Nice work.

Andy, I will have to make it for next year's show. Every time I hear about it, it's always after the fact. Jets are nice, but my heart's always for the WWII fighters. It's always good to see your warbird photographs. Cheers,
Mark

Actually you are correct. I have now seen this plane described as either/or on net. I was a comm tech in the corps so never really got the nomenclature of the birds down (these were a little before my time).
This was a fun show for me as I finally gave up the bucks to be in a chalet on the flight deck...it was well worth it, and the teleconverter on the Pro1 did work nicely for me. Sometimes too nice, I got some Angel shots where all of them didn't fit the frame.

I've never heard of the FG-1D version. Always, it was the F4-U that I keep seeing and hearing about. Looks like you got nice and close with that 51mm lens.
