sally if ur using PS make a duplicate layer of the original ,then desaturate it ,then drag it ontop of the original and use eraser very finely around the lemon .hope that makes sense if not its probably me.

hi sally you asked for constructive valid comments, ive looked at your portfolio and love your creative approach with PS etc.can i suggest try mixing the black and white with a touch of colour with this shot i.e the lemon colored against a black/white finish.like the wine glass i have on my porto . however if you have already tried it ignore this and keep up the creative work. ill be back...
