About	Probably wasn't safe wandering the slums of Oakland, but It hadn't been safe in a lot of places I shot, some with real lead flying by. Then I saw him, the man on the bus bench. And the sign seemed compelling. "It's illegal to litter," it said. The question flickered across my mind -- Is he human litter -- someone society and circumstances has just thrown away? No answer flickered, but I shot the photograph, and here it is.

Well this is quite the controversial subject Pat. I think he looks like he's enjoying the day tremendously. I know the "homeless". That's why I said controversial. Hope he picks up the litter on the ground when he moves on?
