Alison, I reckon that this is your finest work yet, and I'm not only referring to this shot. Wow, the exposure is right on the nail, retaining lowlight detail and colour, while really bringing out the blue of the sky. The way you've framed this shot with the trees left right and below is suberb. I'd have liked to have seen a shot with a tiny bit more sky at the top, to contain the thrust of the flower. Lovely image totally open to interpretation.

Wow - they look absolutely gargantuan from the angle you took this! I've always loved 'bug's-eye view' photos like this - that reaching for the sky look is really appealing to me for some reason... This would look almost a little macabre were it not for the clear blue sky and bright sun - good one!
