An awesome collaboration... the addition of Fog Man gives the image a sense of perspective. He fits in there perfectly. Way to go! (8)

John,

Actually, this picture reminds me of the cover of "The Excorcist" DVD. I bought that one just for the picture on the cover. :) And I like this picture too. Gives me the creeps, and there're two things I love for pictures to do above all else...make me cry, or make me hide under a blanket. This one could make me do both ("I see fog people...") *grin* Well done, guy.

Thanks everyone. I agree that most images including this one are stronger when a human element is introduced. Thanks Kevin for being such a good sport. Maybe we'll start a trend of collaborations. I know I'm up for it again.

To answer your question Kev; Yes I did compromise my sense of a straight horizon, but I used the shilouette you gave me to cover much of the main clue to the error, so if you can't see it, I won't point it out. I did rescan the original photo to include the first streetlight based on the suggestions received from the first posting.

Heheheh, very cool. The fogman would have to stand very still for this image to turn out like this sans PS...

I'm honoured and enjoy that I was able to make a contribution (albeit one that suits my narcissistic impules) to someone else's image here on the site.

My question would be did you sacrifice your discussed compulsion for a perfectly level horizon or find a way to rotate/crop and keep the streetlamp in at the same time? Looks the same...

Oh, and I do have a self-portrait on here somewhere, Maggie.

I think the lighting is just amazing and the fog man on the left just makes you think about what he is doing there. nice shot

Wow...what an improvement over the first one John. The original image of this scene looks empty after looking at this one. Good job on the retake!!!

So thats the Fog Man eh...*G*.... thought he would look like that *L*.....Maggie
