Gio...I hate to say that I haven't read them. I haven't actually read much poetry. This image is in fact my hubby, taken about the time I met him...LOL!!

I feel that way all the time Judi!
My mind remembers how to do so much but the body has forgotten... And I can't remember how to teach it those old tricks it used to know so well...
Well done Judi...

Have you ever read the poems of William Wordsworth? (I think you have)...or any Romantic poet s like Keats? They share ideas and words with you (so do I). I love the qaulity of this photo:that worn out face, filled with rusty colours but smiling anyway (and more, you can't say wether it's a boy or a girl imho) perfectly fit the lyrics of your song! See you again

Wonderful Judi, I do agree with your words - mostly - having just a a great family get together/meal last night, I appreciate that - and seeing my grandaughters first steps - just fabulous - but with another birthday round the corner and a fast fading memory and aches ummhhhh Fabulous work you have done here, especially from such a small old photo to start with Margaret

Yes, I know the feeling. I wish my body would stay as young as my mind. Although some days, even my mind is feeling old.

Very well said, Judi! There's advantages to every age, you have to be satisfied where you are! Look at the experience you need to get these great shots! Dave.

Yeah, the knowledge of what a real, mature love is outweighs any of the heart-pounding infatuations of youth...ANY day!

wow, but it seems as though I haven't quite learned all of those lessons that come along with age, and I certainly haven't discovered that real love thing, *sigh* perhaps soon. :) Hate to have all of these wrinkles and no benefits. :) Dottie
