No larry, the seagull was a lucky one, I shot a few pictures and found the gull later when I overlooked the pictures.

If I crop the sky, then the seagull is gone and that just give it something special.
the sky on the original is a bit less blue, but I selective played with the curves to make it blue and used a blur brush to get the noise out of the sky

Wonderful shot but... did you add/modify the sky or is this real? It's incredibly flat... Nice job and light on the lighthouse!
I would like this also cropping out the whole sky and leaving just the lower part as a 16:9 picture

Good capture w/ the seagull as an extra focal point. Was this taken from the land or on a boat?
