very cool image. all that messing around really created a fine photo. All that contrast you created makes the drama of the moment so much more intense then the original. good on ya mate

Sorry I'm late getting around to comment. I'm in a bit of a mess here at my place. This is great the way you've managed the colors and tones. You turned a normal picture into a masterpiece of power and force. I love it. Congrats on the POD. I'm really happy for you. Now many people can come to recognise what a very talented photographer you are. Regards, Rebecca

At first i wasnt sure about this, but looking at it more i think i like the dark tones, gives the water a dangerous feel to it almost. I like the original also though, with the sun reflecting off the water, a lot more friendly. I like both versions for different reasons! Cool experimenting

Sure...inverted the image, upped the focus and adjusted the contrast. I think I also altered the saturation.
Name of the game is to use PS as a tool and experiment again and again. Be ready to accept that sometimes it doesn't work...!
Good luck

Hi Manu, very impressive masking techniques... It creates a very surreal view of something familiar, but still in a very natural and unforced way.
Composition wise, the shot is well balanced, and wonder if you care to share the original... Not only because it'll be interesting to see how much you did to the original, but also because it's rather difficult to believe the original is "pretty boring"...
Cheers,
Hugo
