Thank you Augustin,
I make another layer and blur (gaussian)the picture to make the skin look soft, then rub out the eyes, lips, hair, eye brows and clothes to reveal the sharp picture underneath keeping the skin slighty blurred. then I add a the filter distort/ diffused glow, making sure the forground colour is white and the bachground colour is black.

Thank you for visiting my picture gallery and glad you like my pics. I will be posting lots more :) I loved your pictures. Can you explain to me the process on how you get this picture to have a softness and glow? I also use cs but I dont know how to do this.

This has a 40's gangster feel to it. I like it. Great job adding the smoke and light. The diffused glow works well here too. Melissa
