Roger, she is an Australian Shepherd. She is sweet as pie, loves carrots, and will gladly keep our yard free of vermin cats and squirrels.
I also wondered about the absence of a greenish cast that often is present under flourescent lighting conditions. My guess is that there was enough natural light to compensate for it.

Is this a Shetland Sheepdog? I ask becuase ours is, and sometimes looks just like this. The softness, presumably due to the slow shutter speed, is fine, and the mixture of natural and fluorescent light comes off well (I sometimes get an ugly green cast).

an amazingly lit portrait!!!!
the white background and the multi directional soft light show this dogs beautiful eyes and coat colors!
Theres this softness about the whole image that expresses the love and relationship between the dog and the photographer!

Those eyes are incredible. Almost human. So sweet. I really like how the fur's rendered. You really get a "feel" for its texture.
