Thanks, John. I was thinking of this image when I commented on your image earlier. This one has nearly the same compositional element as yours - a dominant swash of color leading right off the edge of the image!

I need to rethink this one too.

My type of image - I love this one! You've captured some beautifully rich colours here.

hi MS

Kim might be right about using yellow instead of white, but at the same time, the white becomes a kind of "subject" as it were. The mind tries to make something of it. I for example have turned it into a silver-wrapped Hershey's chocolate kiss!

:-)

Hi Mary Sue, Wow. That was my first reaction... And, the more I view the more I like... The natural blending of colors and fields is just wonderful. It is a goal of mine to get a impressionistic, painterly look in my work (well for some shots). And, you have rendered art in this one... Great idea - well captured. Cheers! Sam

this one flows and is smooth on the eye. I love it.

I like the flow of the lines in this one better than the previous one, although the other one had great qualities as well (like that bold blue colour!)
Great use of your creative side, Mary Sue! I wonder if you could find some pale yellow to use instead of the white... the white really stands out here and I think a paler colour might add to the sense of movement and flow.
I love how the lines converge at the right bottom side of frame!

Formlessness where only color hints at form...such a pleasure to look at.
