Lovely minimalistic image Greg, yes you certainly have captured the lushness of the grass...the different textures create an additional interest. Well done. Cheers Micky.

Have been trying for months to get an expressive shot of the fields surrounding my place, but haven't quite succeeded. Your photo succeeds effortlessly. Thanks for your comment on my mountain ibex. Happy Christmas from an Aussie in exile in Europe (have never made it to NZ, but will one day).

Anothr "Simple" photo that works excellently. When I was younger, I used to take this kind of field on film on an 8 mm movie camera and enjoy the wave-like movement of the green corn. Thank you, Greg, for your friendly comment on my "Early Christmass gift 2". We also have a museum of airplanes. It is located in Beer Sheba and contains, among other planes, the black Spitfire flown by Eizer Weitzmann, who later became our president and a Messeschmidt, given to us by the Check government to help us in the War of Independece. Once I get there, I'll post photos from there. Best regards, Rafi

great shot, yes you did capture the lushness of the fields. i like how this is split into 3, the foreground with the leaves in detail, the middle with the green tones and the background with the sky and mellow sloping the whole way through so its not so linear. i like.
