The flowers in the background is a wonderful theme, and you really know how to pose. The dress is also very appropriate. A Spanish theme maybe? Nicely done, Sam.

Hi Sam, thanks for finding Pushy Kids and commenting. Before I go into the portfolio I like to look at how people comment in general as it put's some perspective on it and I see your contributions as warm and considerate to the photographer and the subject. So, to the portfolio! Well, self portraiture is often maligned but in truth very hard to do well. it takes a lot of self awareness to produce convincing results. Here you look so comfortable with the camera and respond to the viewers of the resulting photo as if they were right there. The chosen location is goo, the pose and the playful expression are wonderful. Lot's of potential and I'm sure the quality will get better and better. If you didn't see it yet take a look at the work of Ruta, well I just saw she deleted most of her portfolio, anyway her self portraits have been amazing.

The background was a bit overexposed, but wow!

pure energy...i love this girl :) you look like a gipsy girl.I love the red flowers.I don't know if your camera has a option like that but you should try to take these kind of pictures with a smaller depth with focus on you ...
