Another wonderful and very personal portrait, Khaled - you are so good with people! Having seen them both, I must say that I prefer the black and white because it really brings out the character in her face! There may be indifference in her face, but her eyes speak of intelligence, wisdom and experience.

Hi Khaled, By looking at the original photo I know why you changed it to B&W , I think you took this photo in a strong sun light that explain the contrast and lighting spots in the original photo. Now I think the B&W is more appealing , next time when you change to B&W try to add a bit of red tone I do this all the time cuz the automatic B&W looks more gray.

Hi Khaled, you are most welcome and i am glad that you liked the result, about the other image, as i said, only some Level adjustment, i just play with the levels till i get the best result, btw i am using PSP9, and after that Histrogram stretching, finally .. i sharpened the picture, .. Here in this one .. i only done the sharpening, it didn't need any kind of level adjustment, i hope you like this one too. Kind Regards,

Hi Ameed, Thanx alot for following my photos, I always appreciate your comments. I really liked the adjustments that you've done to my photo "Sudanese Old Lady", very professional use of PS indeed, if you don't mind tell me in details what did you do for adjusting it. When I uploaded the photo I was at my mother in law's house, and I was using her computer and ofcourse PS was not downloaded on her computer, so I tried to adjust the brightness as much as I could but I don't know why I got this bad result...never mind. About shooting people, many times I face troubles once I start shooting them, coz I usually take 10-20 captures successively and the person whom I'm shooting starts to be worried. Usually I don't pay anything but sometimes I do. Thanx again for your concern my friend. Best regards, Khaled.

Waww Khaled, the thing that i really want to know, to do you convince your models to take their picture, i am sore not all of them like the idea, specially when you know that in Sudan they believe in Magic and Capturing someone's picture is not something good '' atar '' so .. do you pay them .. or only use your charm :) Very well done my friend, i am enjoying your series, regards,

Excellent portrait. she looks indifferent, but not in a negative way. It's so nicely taken, B&W one is nicer. It captures ones thoughts. Really good Khaled.

Khaled... Another excellent portrait... you should be titled the master of portraits.... Although Black and White usually provide a unique quality to the image... I like the colored portrait moe because it copes more with your title. Her selection of the veil color and the fact that it does not match her dark colored skin provides more meaning to the indifference title you selected. The pose she is taking resting on her hand is a plus... well done ya Khaled

Nice portrait Khaled. Do you think that it is indiference or dreaming?? Perhaps I prefer the second one, just to think that people are not indifferent to what happened around them, but have inside them, a dream garden.. Take care Khaled.

She does have that look of indifference, almost as if she has resigned to her way of life and given up some. Beautifully taken Khaled, you don't have that fear of approaching people. Alison
