About Depth of field is awfully shallow, but was necessary to get a shutterspeed high enough to stop her movement. Wanted to know what people thought as I'm considering using this image or "Happiness" as the front page on my website. Thanks for any comments you can provide.

I personally love the lack of DOF... I also love the efect of the catch-light from the babies left eye. I think that this is a magnificent image full stop!

Geoffrey - I think that this will make a wonderful front page for a web site!

A very strong shot... I keep looking at it. Light in the eyes is a bit large as Jason says, but it might be hard to change that without changing the quality of light overall. It looks like an outdoor shot, I think I can see the cloudy sky in there. More DOF would be nice. You could get this shot to f11 with one medium sized flash head, a medium softbox, and a reflector. Of course, after you set all that up, good luck getting the subject to hold still!

I like the facial expression but the shallow depth of field is somewhat distracting. It might work a little better if you removed some of the catch-light from the babies left eye - Photoshop perhaps... I think that would make the soft focus on that eye more palatable. With all that said, it's still a great image ! Nice job !
