About To fully understand this picture please look at another picture in my portfolio titled "a wind clock".
You can find it here:

http://www.usefilm.com/image/595305.html

This picture, like many others, was taken during the photographic workshop which took place in Polish National Park on the Polish coast.
This workshop made me a fan of details and textures.
You can find the results just above.
Hope you like it.

Hugo, thanks a lot for your involvement; I really like your diptych - in that way a viewer can compare these two pictures immediately and guess what I mean by "retired";

Hi Lukasz, Looking at this composition, I think I better get used to this type of close crop...) And in all fairness, I not only think it works better in this photo than in the others, and I'm probably too rigid in following the rules. Further more, In context with the shot you mention, the close crop works well in emphasising the sweeping marks of the grass more.

The two images go very well together; have you concidered presenting the two as a diptych? Per attached a suggestion. I tried to use your style of framing, but I'm not sure if that's the best presentation possible.

This is beautiful (again). The simplicity and the shallow DOF makes this feel so peaceful.

Wow.. the narrow DOF does it all here.. makes it so soft.. superb work! Really like it! Was about to say something about the crop but when i saw the large image it works great! =) 7

Before commenting on this, I went to Wind Clock. I love both of them. Your detail is excellent as is the texture. You have some amazing work in your portfolio, Lukasz. Some great ideas too.

Mark
