Jason, tricks that you are using with long exposure are very effective. I also use flashlight, but your technic seems to be flawless. Very inspiring.

The prosess is completely intuitive. I keep a constant f-stop of 5.6 and use negetive film because it is more forgiving. The rest is just trial and error, after a while one tends to guess the proper exposures.

Jason, Very interesting work in your portfolio. My qustion is how do you calculate your exposure? I really like to color and feel in your shots. This one is a little grainy and soft but I supose those are difficulties that come alnog with the long exposure. I am very impressed with your portfolio!
