Before I joined usefilm I wasn't a big fan of post cropping images, maybe if I posted it today it would be a different story. :)
Regarding the grass and the petal thankyou for you honest opinion. I will take note of that next time. btw it's not my garden :)

Hi Ben,
I would suggest a tight square crop.
I also wish you would reach with your hand and straighten that one petal which is standing proud and breaking the pattern... unless you want to make that a feature of the photo!
Another bit of "gardening" you could do is move that very bright blade of grass towards the lower left of the flower --- it is really distracting.
