Hm... a wonderful photo, very well composed, interesting feeling and beautiful light, but the light on top right side is a little bit to much. On my screen it's pure white.

This is such a beautiful picture; it reminds me of a painting by one of the "Old Masters".
Very nice lighting, and good foreground techniques;
also a good use of the "composition technique, "thirds".
Congratulations on making such a creative picture!

Well I expect the D70 has a well-deserved place in your affections too, judging from the results you are getting with it. Can't help noticing the burnt-out area upper right, but it just about works, as the source of all the golden light... I MIGHT have been tempted to use PS to put a little colour in there. But no, get thee behind me!

Almost perfect chris. Just the burnt out top right is a little distracting but without a grad nd filter wouldn't know how to avoid it. Love the scene though :)

I love this sort of shot Chris. The wet foreground looks like Bacofoil and just enough detail to the buildings. Great capture.

Hi Chris, just wanted to say what a great photo. I saw your last posting, but felt i couldn't comment as i did not know Roland. However i could feel in your words and the photo how much you felt for him and i too felt proud and felt for you that you could share these things with your UF friends. I see now that "Into the light" is the first step in a healing process. Really nice.
PS: I pleased for Carole too :)
Best wishes and have a great weekend.
Neil

...and what a wonderful stroll it must have been. What could be better than to be with the one you love in such a beautiful romantic setting with the gently lapping water and golden sun warming you.
