About I was in Death Valley recently only for a couple hours as I drove home. I was happy to keep it short. When I took this it was 5:30pm and only 101? F. I've grown fond of this image as it captures a few of Death Valleys most dramatic qualities namely a capture of how life survives if not thrives in such harsh conditions, the beauty of the ever shifting dunes and the dramatic geology of the surrounding mountains. Hopefully I did justice to this extreme, but beautiful place with my photo.

Thanks for your time and comments. If you're interested in seeing more of my work I welcome you to visit my web site http://www.artbeacon.com/jmg-galleries/

lovely, and I know all to well how difficult it is to capture images in the dunes that don't contain foot prints. Well done, I like the diversity of textures.
