I wish there were just a touch more light on his face to balance the "hotness" (mild tho it is) on his fingers. Do you have reflectors?

Hi Laura, nice expressive shot, and a good tonal range. Compared to the close crop on top and below, I find the left and right side a bit too wide, unbalancing the image. IMO, it's either that, or a wider compsiiton, including the top of the head as well as this boy's left arm. With the excessive area on the left, the seems a bit centered horizontally, wich makes it a bit static. Other than that a fine shot, with nice soft lighting.
