Dear Lori, Thanks for asking. Fine as I can be living under a near dictatorship. BTW, I've been on www.loftsvancouver.com ALOT lately check it out, I'm seriously looking into different things if I can do some business rearranging -that part's VERY tricky. My E-mail should be working soon, I'll write more. Take care, Mark

Dear Lori, not to be stupid or anything but which 2 are Condi and George? (are they the 2 swimming upside down in the backround?) Just curious, Mark # 4002112 - 1984. PS. Like the Blue frame.

Really pretty shot, Lori. The colors in the waters are so vivid. The red bills really add to the shot.

Hahaha, I can't help smiling at what you wrote in your about, Lori. Good one!!!!! I would probably have titles this "Lovely ducks". But it wouldn't have made much difference, I guess. Anyway, they're indeed lovely and this is a great shot! Love the lighting and texture of the water. Nicely composed too. Good workm Lori!!!! Hugs - Emgy

Hi Lori, now there's an interesting approach to photography! Why didn't I come up with that...:) Not to look closely at a photo. Very clever approach, and I agree: it works! How ingenious.
Cheers,
Hugo

Hi Hugo, You're not supposed to look so closely at it! Just squint your eyes and you won't even see those half ducks! LOL

Hi Lori, the title caught me by surprise...;o) Not really my kind of subject, but it'll do. Technically, a very good shot, nice clarity and good tones. I think you treated those poor ducks in the background a bit imprudently, cutting a few of them in half, whilst separating the ones in the composition from those left out. Just kidding, ofcoruse.... It's a nice shot, and the reason it doesn't really tick for me is my own flaw...:)
Cheers,
hugo

Yes, they are Christmas swans. Donner and Blitzen!! LOL Can't get away with ANYTHING! :)
I put on the original also... It seems like when I photograph white swans or any other kind of white bird, the white is ALWAYS blown out....very frustrating. Just haven't hit on the right setting yet.... Then I think about yours, how beautiful they are....oh well, I'll keep trying!! Have a great day Elisa! Lori :)

Nice shot Lori. I like the composition and the reflections on the water. The background looks to me a little busy and therefore distractive. Regards, Marios

This has a kind of formalism to it for me. The white swans certainly command the attention and everything else radiating out from the center.

Interesting swans, Lori!! I've never seen any with such red beaks before!! It looks as though they're getting ready to rival Rudolph! Nice shot, though ~ it could have been taken on many an English pond! Kind regards, Chris
