Beautiful colours and pose. The black bg really works. You could have been a little more careful about her foot though.

Hi Sue ... I appreciated ur comments then and now. But as always with me when I see my results I feel I missed on something and as such I shared the same with you the possible changes I had been thinking for so long. But guess you are right it could have made it a little busy. Thanks for sharing your valuable feedbacks. Regards. Inder

Well, Inder, I have to disagree! :) I think the lighting is wonderful! I'm thinking that the lighting truly emphasizes the brocade because it doesn't overwhelm the viewer with busy-ness of the pattern but still displays the intricacy of the gown.
I should have mentioned in my first comment how astonished I was about how painstaking it would have been to lay that fabric out like that and I wondered how long it took.
I hope you don't think I was condemning your photo! Quite far from it!!!! I just thought perhaps you wanted a little feedback about the composition.
Please keep posting. I learn a lot from your uploads!

Thanks Sue for your comments. Sometimes when the line is big where each fashion designer is trying hard to jump the Q to get their garments shot as fast as possible, it is quite normal a few mistakes happen. The heavely brocaded embroidery was getting on the nerves of the modeling fashion design student. After all the happening besides what you draw attention to the direction of the foot, I do feel that I should have added some light on the dress spread behind her as well that would have also added some backlight on her. More than 12 hours of daily shoot single handedly for ten days or so does takes its toll some where, but I still feel quite a decent job was executed. Thanks again for taking time off to critique my image. Cheers

How very creative! And it's a lovely gown, too!
The only thing I might have done differently is have her foot point towards the corner and not cut off her toes.
