Thankyou Maria. It is comments like yours that make it all worth it. I put a lot of work into each of these images and I always get nervous putting them up for viewing. As people see so many different things in them....I am never sure if I have stepped over the mark or not. So thankyou.

What you quoted from the poem is exactly what happened to me in the convention I told you about, after I had overcome the primary difficulties. This is the kind of picture I expect to be surprised by (contradiction in terms?) when I open your photos, dear Judi. Thank you for your understanding comment on my "What is the time 3". Your critique has been noted. Best regards, Rafi

Randy, you are funny. I honestly didn't think this one would be as popular as it is. It just goes to show, that everybody sees something different in an image.
Take care.

This is beautiful. I love it when someone takes the time to awaken the spirit (or child) within and just plays. It's amazing what you can come up with. This is precious 7++

Thanks John. I wasn't sure if my emails were getting to you. Anyway, here are the steps, a shortened version, but you should be able to get the gist. If not, let me know and I will explain a little better.
Took two photos, cut them out and pasted them on separate layers on a new image and altered the colour to BW.
Positioned them and added two sunbursts to the hands. Reduced the opacity to the spirit, and added a screen layer with reduced opacity. Added two coronas to the spirit. Merged layers and added a lighting effect to the image.
I then took it from PSP over to PS and duplicated the layers. Added different lighting effects to both layers with a mask. Took it back to PSP and added a screen layer with a multiply layer on top and then added another lighting effect.
Bordered it, with a glitterato effect and finished it with text.
As I said a very shortened version but let me know if you have any questions.
