Mike,

I, too, thought it was a child...in the thumbnail, it looked like a black child (they tend to have rounder features and more prominent cheeks at young ages), and I was suddenly reminded, with the silhouette (spelling?) and the colors of the sky, of "The Color Purple". GREAT movie...made me HAVE to pull this one up and take a closer look. :) You've done a fine job here, guy. Beautiful colors, and nice composition. I've been looking through your portfolio, and you've advanced much since your first posts. I'm glad to see you're still sticking with it...you're doing a good job. :)

nicely done Mike the framing is now much better with the crop...colors and silouette works really well together...really hard to tell its a statue...very clever and creative....good job...

Very interesting, Mike. I really couldn't my finger on what it was in the live session. When Artie said don't cop out on us WHAT DO YOU SEE DEBBIE. Something snapped and then it hit me "Its a child laughing". That was funny. This is cool just took a bit to figure it out.

I to thought this a child, but didnt see it as scary, looked like an excited child, laughing and moving about to me... I think this is really well done,, Like it alot Mike,,

I originally thought this was a child in the foreground. Interesting image that caught my attention. Some people might have just shot the sunset....but the silouette really adds to the picture making it a much more interesting shot. Thanks for sharing.

I find this image disturbing -- the sunset looks like some sort of fire ball and the pose of the statue looks terrified -- at first I thought of Pompei and later of more recent events. I doubt it was what you intended but it is what I thought when I enlarged the photo.
