Hi again, Angelo. Thank you for another kind comment.
The image is, in fact, a landscape. The buildings you see in the background are grain elevators. I live in on an acreage 11 km away from the nearest town. Many of the images I capture are from my own backyard, so to speak. The rest of my pictures are taken while I'm on vacation, therefore the subject matter tends to go from the exotic to the mundane.

This is a wonderful landscape/cityscape photo, Dawn. I like the colours, silhouettes of the birds, buildings and also the plant.
Nice one.
Also, thank you for your visito to my portfolio and your comment on my photo.

Thanks everyone! I actually took another picture shifting the focus to the left and barely catching the "weed" but I preferred this shot.
Anyone who knows southern Alberta will appreciate what I say next. The "weed" is actually a newly planted 12 foot flowering Macamik tree --- I was standing on my deck while I took this picture. Southern Alberta is semi-arid and trees are not naturally found on this part of the planet --- it's bald prairie --- it takes a lot of time, effort and water to grow trees here. This one took.

Very well done, Dawn. I was going to say that I don't mind the weeds either. I think it does add to the framing. Wonderful capture.

nice frame Dawn and light...very nice tranquil feel to this...I like the weeds there it adds to the framing nicely and raises you diagionally up from the rise to the birds and leans back into the sunrise again...very nicely done...
