About I went out in my Kayak just as the sun was setting to catch the mood of the moment. The water was calm and reflective as a mirror. I could hear all the sounds on the water as I paddled in the quietude of a non motorized water craft. I heard the snort of the Sea Lions, so interested in what I am doing as they followed my every movement from a distance. They have a head like a dog and in some ways act like them. They always seemed intrigued by whatever humans do on the surface of the ocean or on the edges of the shores. So curious.

Wonderful photos you uploaded today, all 3 of them. Think this might be my favourite of the three; while the red colours on one of the others are impressive I feel that this one has a great sense of balance to it... square format, rule of thirds type composition (if that is indeed a rule in square format) and a great sky! Never tried kayaking, but my girlfriend is into it. I can see the appeal in conditions like that!
