I have checked out your website and I must say, I am impressed. I was really taken with W01, the ducks appearing as if they are walking on water, and the ship at night with the water reflection. Pretty powerful image. Excellent work.

Simply perfect Judi :) it can't be any better, i like it as it is, i don't think it need cropping, the blackness gives more depth to the picture, and i think what makes this picture unique is the sharp clear sparkles capture, of course the way the Kidd's set down and the impression on their face ad the final touches :) very well done and congratulations for BIP, you really deserve it, keep up the good work dear :)

Thankyou Ferdinand. I was actually only getting them ready for a shot, so they weren't prepared, which I was glad. Becuase it left them so natural, which is what I prefer. They are getting used to being relaxed in front of the camera but I always try to catch the subject off guard. It makes for a better image, well I hope anyway.

That is an incredible coincidence Hugo. Bizarre. Light my fire by The Doors....wow.
I actually tried cropping it on the left hand side before I submitted it but because the light from the sparkler on the right was so far out from the boys level it made the picture unbalanced with the small boy being so close to the border. So I left it as a more even edging.

Hi Judi, call it coincidence, but as I opened this photo, the doors kicked in on the radio. Not quite the same mood, though.... Won't let that influence my comment, I promise...:)
Very well exposed shot, and quite an unusual scene, but a very nice one. I think I'd crop the image a bit closer below and on the left, but that's only a minor thing.... the thing that makesthis image tick is the interaction between your boys. It creates a very intimate atmosphere. Very well captured.
