Superb image, Judi - you've certainly touched on a universal theme here. I'm sure we've all been there done that and don't want to go there again. This is one of those images that really needs no explanation but I really like your about.
Real love should be a refuge, a shelter, a safe harbor from the storms of life. How sad that we so often allow pride and selfishness to turn it into the scene you have presented here. Thanks for reminding us to cherish the one we love rather than declare war. Kurt

Yes, I know. I couldn't put my finger on it either. I worked on this half the day with that many distractions that in the end I just put it up hoping that maybe someone will find the answer. Oh well, can't win them all.

The message you are projecting here is well done, so the figures go into b/g a bit, the message is there, not necessary for a #1 Image. It would distract I feel, from the message...

The idea is perfect Judi, i like it allot, but .. Why do i always find a but :) i don't like the black background in here, it eats some of the details, like the woman's cloth, the hair, so you get the feeling is the picture is missing something, and another thing, i don't know why but i feel there is too much space in the picture, i don't know how to express that ..
What do you think?!

Ahhh...are we talking from experience...?? Hmm...I think we all have probably experienced this. That is what I like to portray in an image. The world has many languages, but I like to portray an emotion that is know world wide without the need for text.
