About The canopy of 100+ year old Live Oaks and ancient cabage palms at Bok Tower Gardens were left in almost total ruin in the wake of Hurricane Charlie and Frances. The view here is forever gone, only to be remembered in photos. Those that know me, know that this was my favorite place to shoot.

Chris - Thanks for your kind words, I would love to do a side by side photo essay of the destruction at Bok Tower, however they are not open to the public yet, 3 major hurricanes in 6 weeks have done unspeakable damage to that beautiful place.

Bev -
Classic Bev type infrared image. I'm begining to be able to spot them without looking to see the artist. Really great impact with such a tight composition. I'm wondering with the storms, if you've had time and the inclination to do any documentary shots of the changes or havoc (not the typical news shots, but the more classic Bev type nature shots)?

Best Wishes

Chris

Beautiful IR Beverly,
I like this one a lot,
yes, lovely scene.
Yes, horrible hurricanes there, and 'Ivan' seems to be changing course by the hour, has already caused death and devistation in Granada. I do hope it doesn't get Florida, you've all had enough!
Lori :)

This is wonderful in IR. Be a long time before it grows up again. Take care down there. Don.

Wow, that's too bad, this is a lovely image. These past 3 hurricanes really did a number on some beautiful places. I just posted an image of Grenada from last May. Ivan tore that area apart.
thanks for posting,
nicole
