Hi Andre. I have tried to reply but realised I was using my partner's name (Margaret Sturgess) and the message seems to have launched into cyberspace. Anyway, no I'm not Scottish but have always had an interest in railways, that's why I know about the Forth Bridge. I travelled across it in 1963 and I attach a pic for you. Quality is not all that good but it is 41 years old now. Den

Andre, maybe you know - this is The Forth Railway Bridge. It is a massive cantilever construction bridging the Firth of Forth. Built in the late 1800's it is continually being painted. Supposedly, painters start at one end and by the time they've finished it is time to start again. Great shot you have here and B/W sure gives the impression of it's size. Den
