Set up time to do the camera and kittens was very quick. With A1, used two kittens for less then 10 mins and took about 25 shots. With the yashica, again 2 kittens, less then 10 mins, took 7 shots. Would have taken more, but had to wait for flash even with new batterys...and kittens got frisky very quickly. Trying to think up something new before they are adopted.

This should be titled "Cat on a Hot Tin Yashicamat", to paraphrase Tennesee Williams. Original and funny!

It can be much better when camera and "the photographer" look in the same direction. IMHO

The yashica was purchased by my mom/dad in the 50's, (Most of the photo's of me growing up was taken with this camera)... it was giving to me in the 80's and I did use it a few years. Had great enlargements with the 2-1/4" format! But then I purchased my Canon A1 (hope you saw the kittens with the A1)...so, the Yashica went to the closet. Now shooting all digital (when I can shoot)...and using my 'old friends' as props... Not sure if the Yashica is still 'light-tight', but shutter appears to be working. Thank you for viewing and your comment.
