I think the composing is balanced but a bit static through the split in the horizontal. an upright format may increase the tension.

Hi Gayle,
Very nice - a peaceful and lovely composition. I think the shapes of the sandbags (I first thought they were nicely-shaped rocks) adds a really nice touch as a dividing element. The reflections really make the photo... and thanks to Ryan, I now see the mystery, too. Where *are* those pink blossoms in real life??

Great shot..... I like it because well one the statue is is great and the reflection on the water is nice but creates kind of a puzzle with that vibrant pink tree showing up in the water but not next to the statue....

Lovely! Beautiful colors and lighting! Love the reflections! To favorites. I also like that saying about fishing without bait. Never heard it, and this is a fishing town. I'm going to have to pass that one around! Oh DANG, I just asked Kees, and he says he's heard it. Where have I been!?
