I agree with George in the second comment. This would make a stunning panorama for the fireplace mantle with about 1/4 of the picture cropped from the top, maybe to where the two broken twigs stop. Unique Niagara viewpoint, minimizing the Falls' grandeur for the sake of the scene. Alot of kinetic energy here.

Beautiful country. I think the image would be stronger if you:
-cropped some off the top so the horizon is not as close to the middle of the photo
-removed the pink corner on the right. rubber stamp it
-rubber stamp the pink in the middle bottom
-I'm not sure about this- the bushes on the right look like the are oversharpened.
Please excuse me for being so picky.

Zeev,
Remarkable shot. This is so beautiful.
I would prefer a little less sky, but all else is perfect. I especially like the foam from the water.

Thanks so much for your comments and suggestions on my photos. I do have so much to learn and this heps. It is encouraging that the usefilm members are so willing to encourage and give advise. Thanks again. Dee

Many thanks jenny for your critique,in many cases I like to cropp images and make them panoramic,in this one I thought it will look better as a whole
I think you are right it can be cropped a little bit.I saw your porfolio and you have beautiful captured
butterfly's ,I plan to post a very unusual one

Best regards

Jenny Brown   {K:2859} 8/16/2004
This one might work well cropped panoramic. It could eliminate some of the empty sky yet maintain enough for setting. The foam from the water is amazing.

Zeev... This picture is a beauty!!!!!!!

Love the composition and the way you froze the water... The colors are incredible... The little tree you have at the left adds very much to the composition... The DOF is excellent... Great work you did here my friend....

Cheers,

Oustanding - the colors, the breathtaking perspective, the sky, the pattern of the water!
Bravissimo!

An absolutely sensational shot! The Sigma lens worked great for you (12-24mm, wow!). There is just about everything in nature going on in this composition except for rather blank upper sky. The movement of the water and the mist is very dramatic, indeed. Breath-taking . . .Well done!
