Wow Kevin. It may not all be in focus, but that is a great use of DOF. I think your work has come leaps and bounds from the very first flower pictures I saw. This is very very good in my opinion! Sharp where it counts, good composition and great colours.

I actually like the selective DOF. I don't think this needs to have complete depth of field. I like the shape and symmetry the surrounding elements provide (even if out of focus) while the limited focal plane really keeps your eyes glued to the image. This is actually how it should be in my opinion. Beautiful.
