Hallo Pia,

Dear Hugo,

thx for your kind words. pedro also voted for "above your head". I think both projects would fit, it's just a matter of viewpoint. ;-)

Take care, Thilo

Hi Thilo, Excellent shot, very original, and I love this perspective. The project, above your head is a bit ambiguously chosen, as these people are obviously below your feet....;o) But then again, you are abour their heads... Interesting angle, and a well composed shot. Simple, but very effective! My compliments...)

Cheers,

Hugo

definitely too much honor for a beginner like me. Your work is just great and needs no encouragements ;-) But this won't stop me from commenting your pictures anyway =)

Hi Uwe,

Dear Carmem,

it's an honor to be part of your favorites. thanks!

as for the sea/lake confusion: sorry about that ;-) actually, in Germany "See" means "Lake" and "Meer" means "Sea". So it's quite confusing for us to distinguish between the two words. Hope you don't mind =)

Cheers, Thilo

LOL about the horizontal comment. You cannot see it but I transformed the image and changed the geometry a lot ;-)

Dear Erik,

thanks for your great comment. That's exactly what I try to express.

As for sepia: it may look like sepia but actually it's done by color balance.

Thx, Thilo

Thilo,

Excellent work. I like the little details, the empty tables, the ones with single occupancy, some have more people, a couple of bags are sitting comfortably etc.

I also applaud you for resisting the temptation of a PS rotation to get some horizontals!!! :-)

Good shot!

I always appreciate when humans are reduced to their geometric core. Humans, rocks, buildings, patterns; it puts us in our place in the universe. Nice sepia effect.
