Mr Baltran, how could I ever stop when I receive encouragement like this? I have so many people to thank for all the support, advice and constructive criticism. Most of all, when the praise is given for an image that stands out, then I can feel the rush of excitement to get out there and do better and better!

Good use of a diagonal to emphasize the stem's serpentine form, and the way the buds encircle it. I'm always impressed by the high quality of your images. You certainly have an inherent ability for photography. This is your art medium, and I hope you never stop.

The day my picture is featured will be the day they will have to put me into hospital because I would not be able to handle the pride :-) But that day won't be soon dear Felipe ... I still have SO much to learn!
I played around with more f settings and spot metering (the camera's facility) and there are a couple of images of a white lily that looks super, straight off the card. When I have time, I want to "study" all the settings and see which are best suitable for white florals.
I am expecting a friend and we will go visit a florist to see if he has any interesting flowers for me :-)
